     Coker Creek Gallery was established in the early seventies and is dedicated to the highest quality arts and crafts.

     The Gallery represents many local artists together with regional and national artists.

•   Owners Kenneth & Kathleen Dalton have their work in six permanent museum collections including one in Tokyo, Japan.

•   Among private collectors are former President & Mrs. Ronald Reagon; former majority leader Howard Baker; former UT Coach Johnny Majors; and actress Jane Fonda.

•   They were invited to make baskets for Joan Mondale’s “White House Luncheon” and a Christmas Ornament for Hillary Clinton’s “White House Christmas Tree”. Their baskets have been chosen as a centerpiece for Governor Phil Bredesen’s Inauguration January 18, 2003.

•   In 1994 they were selected to demonstrate for 6 weeks at Euro-Disney in Paris, France.

     The Gallery is filled with pottery, jewelry, original watercolors, acrylics, wood carvings, white oak baskets, photography, forged metal, sculptured dolls, handwoven placemats & table runners, stained glass, twig furniture, and much more.

     They are members of the Tennessee Overhill Heritage Association, American Craft Council, Monroe County Tourism, Chamber of Commerce, Southern Highlands Craft Guild.

     Coker Creek is completely surrounded by the Cherokee National Forest, making it an ideal place where you can get back to nature and enjoy the outdoors.

Hours: Tuesday thru Saturday - 10:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m.
Open April 1 thru December 22nd.
Located on Hwy 68 S. 9 miles S. of Tellico Plains at the 34 milepost
